Summer, 2019
Dear Supporter:
We are excited to extend an invitation for you to join us at our annual fundraiser “Hallo-win 8 @ Casino Night” on Friday evening, October 18, 2019 to be held at the Hanover Manor, located in East Hanover, NJ. This fun-filled evening will showcase Atlantic City style gambling—blackjack, craps, roulette and poker as well as great food & drink, fabulous prizes and raffles.
Once again, we invite you to partner with us by becoming an event sponsor or by donating goods or services for our amazing gift baskets and prize drawings. Thanks to our growing list of supporters, I am proud to announce that this year we are hosting this wonderful event in the Ballroom!
Westbridge Academy has been a leader in mental health services and special education for more than 45 years. We are a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) special education K-12 school serving children, adolescents and young adults with complex emotional, behavioral and learning disabilities. Accredited by the NJ Department of Education, we serve students between the ages of 5 -21 from 8 counties in northern and central New Jersey.
Westbridge Academy promotes self-sufficiency and achievement for all students through a comprehensive program of therapeutic and educational interventions. Since the beginning, we have helped to change the lives of thousands of youngsters by providing them with the necessary tools for a stronger and healthier mindset to meet life’s challenges successfully.
Your support is invaluable. Our program and facility continue to grow. The added improvements provide a fresh and stimulating environment for learning. These upgrades allow us to continue our important work in helping students utilize the best educational materials, instructional programs and additional resources that they need to reach their full potential with enhanced self-esteem and newfound skills. Many of the youngsters who have come through our doors are survivors of extremely dysfunctional and/or challenging life histories resulting in debilitating psychological conditions. We are proud to say that over 90% of our students have successfully returned to their public schools, gone on for vocational training, entered the work force, or continued with their post-secondary studies.
Now, more than ever, we must focus on coming together to provide the necessary solutions and interventions that make a meaningful difference in children’s lives. Please visit us on Facebook and/or on our website: www.westbridqeacademy.org to see what our program and services provide to students and families.
Donors make a meaningful difference! Since the need to help many more children is great, we must look for ongoing support from community members, corporations and foundations. I am writing to ask you to support our mission by sponsoring our fundraiser this fall.
Our annual campaign is underway. We accept donations on our website or by mail. Bring your friends and family…. save the date… for our popular fundraising event! Be sure to mark your calendar for October 18th and join us in making this year’s event the best one yet! Please contact Joan Bardi (joanb@westbridqeacademy.org or 973-429-8110 Ext. 114) for further information.
With gratitude,
