★ Celebrating Keyon M. – A Decade of Growth, Leadership & Heart
Keyon walked through our doors for the first time in 2017. He was seven. He’s in eleventh grade now, and Westbridge looks different for him having been part of it.
The Report Card – Keyon shows up. On time. Ready. He’s earned Principal’s Pride Honors, multiple Student of the Month awards, and a stretch of perfect attendance most adults would struggle to match.
Outside the Classroom. He’s also the student who does everything. Plays in the school band. Writes for Westbridge News. Reigning Madden tournament champion two years running, and reigning NBA 2K champion two years running. He’s a regular at REACH, asks real questions on college tours, and stays engaged at automotive workshops.

“Keyon is a pillar of support for new students, fostering their integration, and maintains an exceptional rapport with both peers and staff.”
His Family. His parents are the other half of this story. They trusted us with Keyon when he was seven. Six years later, in 2019, they trusted us with his younger brother Kamaal M. too. That’s a vote of confidence we don’t take lightly.
Looking Ahead. Keyon hasn’t fully picked his next step yet. He’s interested in Essex County Community College, and he recently completed his DVRS intake for a summer work placement. Keep an eye on this student.
