On October 1, Westbridge Academy celebrated Fiesta Day as part of Hispanic Heritage Month. Hispanic Heritage Month, observed from September 15 to October 15, honors the histories, cultures, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans.

Our students and staff came together for a joyful afternoon filled with community, culture, and collaboration. The celebration featured a delicious menu of cheese quesadillas, chips with salsa, guacamole and sour cream, churros, and fruit nectar juices.

But Fiesta Day was more than just food and festivity. It was a living example of our commitment to collaborative literacies and 21st-century literacies – helping students learn not just academic content, but also how to connect, share, and thrive in diverse communities.

“Moments like this highlight how culture, community, and collaboration come together at Westbridge. They show how learning and celebration go hand in hand.”
