The state of New Jersey recognized and celebrated Special Education Week in New Jersey from May 13, 2012 to May 19, 2012. On Friday, May 18, 2012, Westbridge Academy was honored at an annual luncheon for exceptional students in special education that was attended by state officials from the New Jersey Department of Education as well as executives from the New Jersey School Boards Association and ASAH. Westbridge Academy’s own Gerard Montalmant is this year’s Grand Prize Winner for his themed Artwork, Charting the Course for Excellence in Education.
Westbridge Academy was also privileged to showcase our School Band, known as the West Street Band for the very first time. Our students did great!
Placing third in this year’s contest, was Westbridge Academy’s Nick Mugavero with his artwork.
